Welcome to the Aglialoro Website.
The Aglialoro family is originally from Sicily - a small town South of
Palermo called Caccamo. Bartolomeo Salvatore Aglialoro ("Sam")
was born in New York, New York in 1909 but his family returned to Sicily when he
was quite young and he, of course, went with them. In his mid-teens, Sam
returned to the U.S. where he met and married Mary Rose Feliccia. Mary's
story was, interestingly, much the same as Sam's. She was born in
Philadelphia in 1914, returned to Sicily as a child, and then came back to the
U.S. in her early teens with her mother, Teresa Timmoneri Feliccia, and her
sister, Josephine and brother, Joseph.
Sam and Mary Aglialoro had four children: Vincent Joseph (born 1933),
Catherine Louise (Cassie) (born 1934), Bartholomew Peter (Bart) (born 1939), and
John Joseph (born 1943).
Vincent married Ann Mancuso and had three children; Cassie married Nicholas
Ricci and had three children; Bart married Carol Rader and had one child; and
John married Diane Walter and had two children. He subsequently married
Joan Carter and has two stepchildren.
